Billing FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

We accept commercial plans of BCBS of all states, United Health Care (UHC), Cigna & Health Alliance Network. TriCare is also accepted as an out-of-network provider. If you're a TriCare member, consult with them about your specific plan's coverage for our services.

When do I have to pay for services?

If we accept your insurance: Copays are due on the day of your visit. For the remaining balance, we will bill your insurance company first. Once your claim is processed, you will be responsible for any remaining amount.

If we do not accept your insurance: Full payments for the service are due on the date of your appointment. We will provide a super-bill for the service provided, which you can submit to your insurance company. Your insurance carrier may reimburse you partly or entirely based on your out-of-network benefits.

How much do your services cost?

The cost of our services depends on whether you use your insurance or pay out of pocket. If we accept your insurance, we will first bill your insurance, and you will be responsible for any pending balance. If you choose to pay out of pocket, you'll be accountable for the entire payment. Costs vary depending on the required service type and whether you opt for bundled services. For a comprehensive overview of our pricing, please refer to our pricing page.

How can I pay my bill online?

At MindWeal, paying your bill online is simple and secure. When you receive a new bill, we will send you three text message reminders, each one week apart, with a link to quickly pay your bill online. We use a PCI-certified vendor to ensure your payments are handled securely.

What happens if I miss the deadline to pay my bill online?

If the bill remains unpaid after 3 electronic reminders, we will send you a statement in the mail. You can then choose to make the payment by mailing us a check, sending your credit card information through the mail, or simply calling us with your credit or debit card details. Please note that we do not accept cash, money orders or demand drafts.

What is your billing process and policy for outstanding bills?

When you receive a new bill from MindWeal, we'll send three text reminders, each a week apart, to prompt online payment. If unpaid, a statement is mailed. If the bill isn't paid 30 days after the statement is sent, we send a text reminder, followed by a final reminder letter after two more weeks. If the bill remains unpaid, your account will be given to a collection agency and our services will cease, including appointments, medication refills, communications, and referrals. At this point, you will be discharged from our care and we will no longer be able to see you. We value transparent billing and timely payments for uninterrupted care. For any billing queries or concerns, please contact our team.

If I pay out of pocket, will my insurance reimburse me?

We will provide a super-bill for the service provided, which you can submit to your insurance company. Your insurance carrier may reimburse you partly or entirely based on your out-of-network benefits.

Do you accept FSA/HSA?

Certainly! You can use your FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account) for copayments and outstanding balances if we accept your insurance, or for the entire payment of services if you're paying out of pocket. Both scenarios are eligible for FSA and HSA use.
