Communication & Support

What should I do if I am having a mental health emergency?

If you believe that your child is at an immediate risk to themselves or others, please take immediate action by calling 911 or going to the nearest emergency room.

If your child is in distress but not facing an immediate risk, there are resources available to provide 24/7 support:

  • Call or text 988 to receive free and confidential support anytime.
  • Text "MHA" to 741741 to connect with a trained Crisis Counselor for free, text-based support.

In case your child is experiencing a decline in mental health but is not in immediate danger, please reach out to us, and we will do our best to schedule an early appointment to address their needs. To learn more about our communication policy, please click here.

Can you assist me with my FMLA paperwork?

Yes, we can assist with your FMLA paperwork. Please note that there are charges for this service as outlined in our Document Processing Policy. We require a minimum of 5 business days to process the paperwork. If your last clinical visit was over 30 days ago, you'll need to schedule a new appointment before we can proceed. For more details, please refer to our full policy HERE.

Do you charge for completing any paperwork or forms that I might need to be filled?

If your child is required to take medication in school and the school mandates a form to be completed by their provider to facilitate this, there will be no charges for completing these medication administration forms. Additionally, if we compose a letter as part of your child's treatment plan during the day of their clinical visit, there will be no separate fee beyond the charge for the visit itself. Examples of such letters include advocating for the patient's needs in school (for instance, requesting accommodations for ADHD, executive functioning deficits, or autism spectrum disorder), seeking additional testing for learning disabilities, or writing a letter to the child's pediatrician to coordinate care.

However, there will be charges for any paperwork not recommended as part of the treatment plan by your provider or not completed on the day of the visit. To learn more about these charges, please click HERE.
