  2. Getting started

What do you need to do to migrate your account from BanCAPs to MindWeal Platform?

We’re Excited to Announce the Transition from BanCAPs to MindWeal Health!

With this transition, we’ve introduced new features designed to make managing your care simpler and more efficient:

  • New Secure, HIPAA-Compliant App: Safely message our team, self-schedule appointments, pay bills, and access treatment plans all in one place.
  • Wellness Score: Track your child’s progress over time with clear insights into their improvement.
  • MCAT Assessment: A comprehensive tool to help us better understand and treat your child’s mental health.

How to Unlock All These Exciting Features?

Follow These Simple Steps to Transition Your Account:

  • Fill Out Primary Guardian’s Information: The Primary Guardian will be our main contact.

Please ensure the email matches the one in your clinical chart  with BanCAPs so the app can correctly connect to your chart in our Electronic Medical Record.

  • Set Up a 6-Digit PIN for Enhanced Security:
Once you've submitted the Primary Guardian’s information, you’ll be prompted to create a secure 6-digit PIN. This PIN will provide an extra layer of protection for your account and will be required each time you log into the app.

  • Log in to Your Account: After setting up your PIN, you’ll be directed to the login page. Enter your username and password to log in.

  • Access Your Dashboard:

After setting up your PIN, you’ll be taken to your personalized dashboard. From there, click Profile Setup to review and update your information. Note: Many details have already been imported from your current records, so the process will be quick and easy.

  • Fill Out Patient Information: Enter the patient’s details. Please note that patient’s Date of Birth can not be changed.

  • Select your preferred office location: Please note that your self-scheduling link will only allow you to schedule at this selected location.

  • Fill Out Primary Guardian Information: Please make sure not to change the primary guardian’s email & cell phone number on the profile. If you need to change that send us a secure message via app and we will get it changed for you.

  • Fill Out Secondary Guardian Information (if applicable): This is mandatory if a Secondary Guardian is present. They will be contacted if the Primary Guardian and Emergency Contact are unreachable.

  • Emergency Contact Information: Provide details for the person who should be contacted in case of an emergency when both guardians are unavailable.

  • Primary Care Provider Information: Enter your primary care provider’s information to help us collaborate with them for seamless care coordination.

  • Pharmacy Details: Choose if you would like to make Genoa Healthcare your primary pharmacy for streamlined medication refills.

Alternatively, you can enter your preferred pharmacy’s information.

  • Insurance Details (Optional) : Enter your insurance information to ensure smooth billing. This section is optional, but if your insurance has changed and isn’t in our records, please update it here to avoid any coverage issues.

  •  Complete the Setup:
After completing insurance information, click Go to Dashboard to access all the features the app has to offer!

SIGN YOUR CONSENT FORMS:

At this point, after completing the setup, you should have already received an email via DocuSign to sign the treatment consent forms as a MindWeal patient. Please check your email to read, review, and sign these forms.

Need Help Navigating the App?

Keep reading for step-by-step guidance on how to make the most of the app:

From Your Dashboard, You Can:

  • Schedule Your Follow-Up Appointment Click on "Kick-off Meeting" to schedule your follow-up appointment. Once scheduled, your dashboard will display the appointment date and time.
  • Complete M-CAT (Optional): We’re introducing the MCAT, a comprehensive psychiatry assessment for both new and existing patients. This tool helps us identify the root cause of symptoms for more effective treatment. New patients will complete it as part of onboarding, but existing patients are encouraged to take it as well. Completing the MCAT improves diagnostic accuracy, explores the root of symptoms, and gives our providers a head start in your child's care.

  • Access Secure Messaging and Other Features
    • Click the chat icon in the lower-right corner for HIPAA-compliant secure messaging.
    • Use the "Med Refills" option for prescription requests and "Billing" for any billing inquiries.
    • For other questions, select "Other Inquiries." We aim to respond promptly to all queries.

  • Track Your Child's Progress: Click on the "Wellness Questionnaire" card to complete the optional wellness forms, which include 5 questions for your child and 10 for the parent, available 1 week before each follow-up visit. These questionnaires help calculate a Wellness Score, with 50% based on symptom severity as rated by the provider and 50% based on your and your child’s perception of their well-being. This score helps us track progress and prioritize care for those who may need more attention.
  • Submit Vital Signs Before Your Visit: Enter your child’s vital signs before the appointment to help us monitor medication tolerance and identify any side effects. This allows more time during the visit to focus on discussing the treatment plan, not entering vitals.
