Preparing for Your Remote ADHD Testing

Your remote ADHD testing is scheduled soon! Another message will follow with detailed instructions about the testing process, including specific dos and don’ts. This message is to ensure you have all the necessary equipment and setup ready for the test.

Update Your Computer:

  • Windows Users: Ensure your computer is updated to the latest version. Windows 11 or 10 is recommended.
  • Mac Users: Update your Mac to the latest version.

Install/Update Chrome Browser:

  • Download the Google Chrome browser if not already installed.
  • If already installed, ensure it is updated to the latest version.

Prepare a Mouse:

  • For Mac or Windows 10 & 11 Users: Have a wired or wireless USB mouse available. Using a bluetooth mouse will generate inaccurate results.
  • For Windows 7 or 8 Users: A wired USB mouse is required for testing.

Set Up Audio:

  • Use wired headphones, wired earbuds, or external speakers that can be plugged directly into your computer or laptop.
  • Using in-built Laptop/PC speakers or using headphones connected to laptop/PC via bluetooth will generate inaccurate results.

Secondary Device for Video Conferencing:

  • Have a second device (e.g., phone, iPad, or another computer) ready to access the video conferencing link via Zoom.
  • Recommended: Download the Zoom app if using a phone, iPad, or Mac.
  • Alternative: Google Chrome can also be used to access the Zoom link.

Guardian/Adult Supervision:

A guardian or adult must be present during the testing to help coordinate and ensure the process runs smoothly.
