Date: Oct 31, 2024
Beginning November 1, 2024, we will only offer virtual visits for established patients. This change is necessary as most of our providers have recently relocated outside the St. Louis Metro East area and are now only available for virtual appointments. Currently, we have one provider available for in-person appointments a few days a week, but to ensure that we can continue to meet the needs of new patients, we need to reserve those slots for initial assessments.
We are actively recruiting an additional provider to expand our in-person services. However, it may take up to three months to complete the hiring and credentialing process. In the meantime, I want to assure you that virtual visits with MindWeal offer the same quality of care as in-person visits, if not more. Here’s why:
Over the past two years, we’ve invested significant effort into developing our MindWeal platform to deliver a seamless and comprehensive mental health experience, including:
- M-CAT 1365-point assessment: The most extensive mental health evaluation in the country.
- Secure chat access: Connect directly with your provider and front desk for support.
- Self-scheduling on the app: Flexibly manage your appointments at your convenience.
- Instant access to treatment plans: Track your medications, treatment steps, and progress in one place.
- DIY toolkits and psychoeducational resources: Empower your mental health journey with the guidance of your provider.
- Wellness score tracking: Keep tabs on your well-being to allow for early intervention when needed.
- Follow-up summaries by email: Receive a treatment plan summary with links to tools, next steps, and to-do lists after every visit.
Our front desk and many of our providers are virtual, allowing us to deliver a convenient, high-quality care experience from the comfort of your home. We believe that our virtual visits not only match the quality of in-person care but also enhance it with flexibility and easy access to resources.
We encourage you to try virtual follow-ups for three months and experience the benefits firsthand. If, after this period, you still prefer in-person visits and demand grows, we will actively explore adding more in-person availability. Right now, patients are finding virtual care to be seamless, effective, and deeply supportive, and we’re confident you will too!
Thank you for trusting us with your mental health care. We are committed to providing you with exceptional support through the MindWeal platform.
Warm regards,
Rahul Bansal, MD
