At MindWeal, we recognize the critical role regular appointments play in your mental health journey. Consistent attendance ensures the effectiveness of your treatment and supports your progress toward mental wellness. Therefore, patients prescribed medications must have a consultation at least once every three months to monitor for potential side effects and assess the medication's effectiveness.
To underscore the importance of attendance and respect each appointment slot, we've established the following policy:
Defining Missed Appointments
No Show
Missing the scheduled appointment without prior notification.
Late Cancel
Canceling the appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, excluding weekends and holidays.
Policy Details
New Patients
If you miss a new patient appointment, you will not be scheduled for another new patient appointment for at least six months.
Established Patients
A $50 charge will be incurred for missed appointments (no-shows or late cancellations).
Repeated Missed Appointments
Repeated no-shows and/or late cancellations (two consecutive appointments or three within a year) will result in discontinuation of services from our clinic.
